Student Council Cart
Student Council members run the sale of miscellaneous school supply items such as pens, pencils, folders, erasers, calculators, pencil cases, etc., from a cart twice a month on Fridays. This usually begins during the month of November and runs through May. The Student Council is also involved in selecting the items purchased as inventory for sale.
Students in first-fifth grades are able to make purchases and there is a $5 spending limit per person. This is an increase from past years.
Revenue raised by the cart is used to purchase supplies in order to re-stock the cart. Profit from the cart is used to support student council programs at LES including, Adopt an Angel, Red Ribbon Week, Homecoming Float, and the student garden.
